Rear Brakes
Funny I thought based on weight and etc front brakes would wear out 1st.
Anyway I need to do my rear brakes and Im looking around and well I dont necessarily want cheap but I want decent wear life and well good stopping power
1st thing on Rock auto that popped up in the improved stopping was Power stop
curious if anyone has these and their opinion on them..
thanks..

I just replaced mine on Tuesday, I used Bosh rotors, and Wagner Ceramic Pads.
I replaced the rear rotors and did all pads front and rear with ceramic. I replaced the front rotors a cpl years ago so, they were not in need.
I serviced my parking brake while swapping rotors. It was dragging on the inside of the drum and showed obvious signs this had been going on for a while. It was not returning to the "off" position fully due to corrosion on the springs and components. I cleaned everything to like new condition and coated all components, minus any friction components, with brake grease to prevent future corrosion.
Just something you may want to check out while your doing it. I can send you a pic of my DIY bleeder setup so you dont get air into the system. I also flushed the entire brake system as well. Could not believe how dirty the old fluid was.
Truck stops like it did when I bought it new almost 13 years ago! Bought the ceramic pads to help with brake dust. Well see i guess.

What are you using your truck for? If you tow frequently or get on your brake pedal pretty hard frequently, you need to stick with a semi-metallic pad. If you don't tow much, you can switch to a ceramic pad to help cut down on the brake dust.
I don't have experience with the pad your asking about but I can tell you that Napa's Safety-Stop pads are pretty jam up and fair priced. Im a fan of small business, so consider shopping local.

EBC sport rotors and hawk HT pads gave me great stopping power.. had ceramics on the front before and did not stop brake dust that much.
