Which Rear Block Kit?
I have a 2007 2wd Scab with a 2" AS in the front. It sits about level, but i want to put some rake back into it. Would a 3" look ridiculous for the 2wd or should i just stick to the 1.5"?
I am looking at the AS and the Readylift rear kits. Any opinions on these brands would be great too. I like the Readylift because of the bumpstops, but i dont really know what those do anyway.
Thanks in advance. Long time reader, first time poster. I will post a picture tomorrow in the daylight to give everyone an idea of what it look like.

Ya i have but that install looks pretty intense. I want to put some airbags in eventually but i was just looking for a quick fix and the rear blocks "look" pretty easy to install.

What is required for the install? I put the front level in myself, but i wont have access to air tools this time. How long did it take to install? Also, do you have a preference on brands for the AAL?

I haven't installed one on my truck, its my next thing. If you wait like two weeks I'll do a write up for you. You dont need air tools, they only make things easier. The front level is much more involved than AALs. Jack, stands, sockets, and C-clamps are all you need. Tuff Country and Pro Comp are some good ones to look at.

Thanks for the info. I might beat you to it just cause i am trying to get this thing done before i go back to school. I will update on what i am going to do. I like the AAL, but i might just drop the extra 100 and get the airbags. I am starting to think the rear block is just pointless other than looks.

all looks is true.
AAL is super easy, my friend and i put one on his tacoma and we just winged it. its pretty simple no air tools required. actually if you were going to put a block in, its probably only an extra 15 min of labour

I have pretty much decided on the Autospring AAL. From what i can gather, it is a shorter leaf, so it is easier to install, but the ride might be a bit stiffer. It seems that AS has taken some small steps to help with this, so i think i am just going to go for it, partly because i like the company. It is about 140ish shipped off ebay. I will try to remember to take pics during the install and put them up. Thanks for all the advice. As of this morning i was ready to get the blocks, but i have completely switched to the AAL.
