Real World MPG what is it?

my 05 5.4 is crap lol. lucky to get 360miles out of a tank before the light comes on. i have seen over 500 on it, but that was completly highway miles, 75mph, going from tx to ga.
new fpdm is on order, oil change about to happin, filter swapping and throttle body cleaning about to happen. so hopefully that gets me some more lol.

Please tell me you don't have a 36 gallon tank?? Id set mine on fire if it was that bad. I have the 36 gallon tank, and can make it over 500 easily, I never wait until its empty to fill it up though. I went from Killeen to San Antonio and back and still have over half a tank, it was a 300 mile round trip.
nah, only the 30g tank. i think i would drive it off a cliff if it was the 36g lol. 05 FX4 5.4 that just rolled 150,000 miles.
and ewwwwww kileen tx? talk about a ****hole of a town lol.

Thats not as bad then, still not great though. Might just be the mileage on it too. Yeah Killeen isn't the greatest, but definitely not the worst Ive seen either!

4.6 4x4. In city with all the lights against me, as low as 9 mpg. On the highway (not interstate) with all the lights green, I've seen 21 mpg a couple of times. Usually I'm seeing about 15-16 mpg for normal driving where I live.
