Default Are Raptor UCAs a bolt-on?

Not sure but the aftermarket Raptor UCA's look a very similar (dare I say the same) as our UCA's. Does anyone know if the Raptors will bolt on?

There are lots of trucks in your year group running raptor gear. IIRC it was a matter of trimming the bushings to make it work.

Does the Raptor UCA have a better ball joint?

No, its the same NON replaceable ball joint as the regular F150.

Thats kinda what I suspected. So whats the point in using a Raptor part? Wouldn't something like Icon be a better choice?

Of course it would be better! Which is exactly why i have ICONS!

The reason for using stock UCAs is that whoever is paying for the parts can save $750 by not buying the ICONs :haha

The reason you'd want Raptor stuff is it's a very cost effective way to go mid travel.

The factory Raptor ball joints aren't anything special but they will hold up to being used off road. I never had any trouble with mine.

That's kind of what I was shooting for. Those UCA's are ridiculously expensive considering you could get 4 sets (6 in some cases) of tubular control arms for mustangs or other hot rods. Seems a bit of a monopolistic price for what you're getting. Tubular CA's are a dime a dozen in the car world and these are no different materials wise. Seems like they're just pricey for the sake of being pricey. They would sell a TON more if they were comparable to other control arms on the market...for cars. I was trying to get the cheapest alternative for the intended purpose.

First a car is different than a truck.
Second cheapest alternative for suspension parts wouldn't be the safest thing to do in my book.

We are talking about factory parts, not Chinese knockoffs.
