I have 3 different brackets to work for the 1997-2013 F150 .The Chevy and Dodge would take a different bracket haven't done them yet but might as I have been asked to do a Chevy just waiting for the guy to come by with his truck so I can make a template.

With the m3 trailer bar grill lights on superbrightleds.com they come with one positive wire... So I'm assuming you only need to connect it to one headlight parking light wire? Both headlights don't need to be used?

Yeah, only one. However, you will have to somehow ground the lights from the bar (the lights are grounded to the bar).

But doesnt it have one wire for negative also? in the pic shows a black wire going through all 3 leds and out with a O tip connector at the end of it... cant i just connect that to any metal bolt in the engine?

Yes you can. That's what I'm going to do. You probably going it to the bolts you screw in the bar with. (If you choose to screw it in)

Yeah, I was thinking it was the other one. The lights you're looking at look to be mounted on plastic. The one I was thinking of is mounted to metal.
