Default Raptor Running Boards on a 2004 Screw

I found a set of Raptor running boards with all mounting hardware on the local craigslist for $200.00. I met the guy at Lowe's parking lot as fast as I could and held the steps up to the side of my truck. It looked like I could make it work, so I handed him the cash, no questions asked. Here are a couple side views.

The rear bracket attached to the stock location. For the front bracket I re drilled the holes in the bottom lip of the cab and used the threaded clips. For the top attachment point I used a self tapping sheet metal screw and washer, the stock holes did not match up. I only used 1 screw in the top on the front and it is really solid.
I had to make a little cutout with a dremel in the underside of the fender flare so they would mount flush.Name: image-3.jpeg

I think they look great and give me some more ground clearance, I have also noticed that they are wider and the line x type finish gives good traction when climbing in.

So for those of you wondering if they fit. Here is some proof. Good luck on finding a set for a good price.

Born in michigan, moved to florida at 21. To Louisville to run the Improv there for a month. Now I'm in Phoenix. Loving my job that just fell in to my lap by chance. Didn't even know what a comedy club was growing up on a farm lol
