I've been seeing several ranch hand grille guards on craigslist lately and I got to thinking...

Do you guys think it would look good PTM'd to the truck? I have a silver FX4 so do you think having a silver PTM Ranch Hand grille guard would look good? Or do you think they look good at all?

It would be really useful to have one around here as there are tons of deer, but I don't want my truck to look like a company truck either.

Just kinda looking for opinions, shoot away!

I had one on my 05 years ago but to be honest with you, I have really grown out of the whole grille guard thing. But if you do get one, I would keep black. Just my opinion.

I love mine. But I also have to say that they look stupid on some vehicles i have seen, but most werent ranch hands. I would definitely keep it black like SJP said. A couple pictures of mine are on my profile.

If your truck is white it probably will look like a company truck!
I would get a smaller one so it wouldn't look so "locomotive" and front heavy.
Personally I don't care for them it takes away from the looks of the truck.
But if your buying it for deer protection then who cares just put it on and protect your ride

Usually, I hate bolt-on grill guards and prefer full replacement bumpers. But the Ranch Hand ones do look good. Not sure how it would look PTM.

Ya I definitely agree that the Ranch Hand ones look the best, they just seem to wrap the front of the truck well and not look bulky and generic. But at the same time they are very strong and protective. The PTM idea was kinda a 1am thing lol... but I would love to have it for protection.

I really don't like brush guards haha. A bunch of flimsy 1" tube and some thin plate steel sticking out a foot in front of your truck. Yeah no thanks.

I have a frontier guard and this thing is pretty tough. I've hit a deer, pushed over 2 small trees (dead) and no dents or dings. I plan on getting it line x-ed eventually.
