Default Questions for those with Banks Mid Tubes

My 07 5.4 has the typical cracked passenger manifold. I finally found a reputable shop that will not only attempt it, they will do it at a very good price. I have stock cats with the muffler cut out and 2.5" y-pipe. For those of you that have banks...
-Banks claims that their headers are so good you don't need gaskets, are they even included when you buy the headers? Has anyone had them long enough to prove this?
-I am not looking for my truck to be much louder, but a little more sound isn't that big of a deal. Do these headers sound close to stock manifolds? (I just want to avoid the "clapped out" sound)

I did the banks headers on our 04. Haven't noticed any more noise than the stock manifolds. The y-pipe didn't quite line up as good as I would have liked it to. It did seal when originally bolted up. I have an exhaust leak at start up after 15,000 miles since doing these.I haven't yet figured out where my leak is.
