Default what could cause truck to stall?

I just had my 04 fx4 with 81k miles worked on. The driver side cam phaser was retarded at 40 degrees and not balanced to 0 which my dealership fixed for a huge bill of about 1100 bucs. a week and half later its running completely fine but this morning when turning onto a street my truck completely dies, shut off the steering wheel locked up and all the lights in my dash lit up. i took the keys out and started it up which it did but didnt sounds like it should. this same thing happened 3 times on my way to work(not even 10 miles) and then again a few times on my way home.it seems to happen when slowing down or actually stopping it just completely dies...the dealership said mt ABS module was drawing 300 milliwatts when it should be operating at around 50 milliwatts, i dont have the money to fix that (quoted 800) so they took out the abs fuse, now i still have my ABS light on and my Brake light on in my dashboard...what could cause my truck to stall like this?

I am by far no expert. But mine had the same problem last week. I took it to autozone and they said it was my sensors in my air filter. They would cause my truck to bog out basically whenever i slowed down or stopped. It doesn't really sound like it would be that, but it is always something to consider.

It was my MAF sensor, and all i did was go to the junkyard and get one for 40 bucks.

Sorry if this is no help.

I'd be taking it back to the dealer that did that repair; they may have forgotten to reconnect a sensor, or broke a connection or???

There's an idle control valve, or one of your COP's is bad (coil over plug), or a vacumn leak, or the MAF (mass air flow sensor). So rather than change half a dozen parts, get it diagnosed.

Default Stall

I have an 04, FX4, Supercrew, mine stalled everytime coming to an idle. It was a sensor in the throttle body. I replaced it and its been fine. I forget the sensor name but you cannot buy this seperate. The entire throttle body needed changed. I paid $140 for the part and replaced myself. Took about 40 minutes. Good Luck
