My subs are at 8ohms it is killing my amp I got the new type r single voice coil n I haven't a clue to wire them down,

So are they 4 ohm each? How are they wired now? Here is a link I just found that may help you out

I've had all my audio equipment behind my rear seat for over 4 years now without any overheating or problem. I think it's the cleanest way to install in these trucks.

Yup! And I got the one sub wires going to the connectors of the other sub, and then a set of wires from that sub to the amp if that makes Sence,
