Default Put an Expedition console in my 06.

I put an expy console in f150. Trimmed it to fit but I am still going to trim it some more to get it even closer to the dash.

I painted it with colorbond medium pebble because my trim code is W.
Looks a little lighter grey vs the truck interior at certain lights. Anyone used the color bond medium parchment (H) or medium pairie tan (X)? I wonder if it would be a closer match to the aged medium pebble dash or should I just say close enough? Haha

Anyone know what the dark color is on the dash? I wanna paint the armrest that color.

I love this mod.
Wish I had the time right now to do mine.
What does it look like from the backseat?

Would look way better than the cardboard box of junk I have in that spot.

I paid $50 for the console from a junk yard.
Only thing you got to go is keep the U bracket that mounts it to the expy floor. That bracket fits the f150 holes perfect. F150 power outlet clips right into this harness
And the radio/climate controls I just kept in. None functional ofcourse.

What ideas would you guys have for converting the rear controls into something useful?

nothing fancy where.. Im just going to remove them and cut some matching trim from another scrap trim piece from the junkyard. Trim it to fit in the hole like it was never an option and put a ford system on it. Kinda like this guy did here but mine will look alot better because it will be matching.

How much space do you have behind it between the controls and the console storage box itself? I'm wondering if you could maybe make a back glovebox or add a stretchy net to it if there's a enough room for a box for holding maps, or snacks, or something.

Put an inverter in there and have 110 at the back of the console. Don't know much about them but you can get them pretty cheap on Amazon.
