Poll: What's your gas mileage around town ?
I'm getting 14mpg around town with my 2004 XLT 5.4 2 wheel drive,
curious to see what your mileage is and if you have any modifications.

I've got a 2007 F150 FX4. I commute about 65 miles a day. About 1/4 is city, the rest is rural highway. I average about 14.5 MPG.
I've got an Airaid Intake, a Bully Dog Triple Dog and a Gibson Exhaust.

07 4x4 Screw, 5.4L with 3.73 gears, 5.5ft bed - I get 15.5 in town and 16.8 on the highway. 10 miles to work - 5 miles of state route (55 mph) and 5 miles of city (30 - 40 mph). Nothing over 2,000 rpm. (It accelerates just fine at that rpm - I keep up with traffic). No mods.

my 08 F150 suoercrew 4.6 Gets between 14 to 15 MPG around town and I get about 18 on open highway.
I have no real mods to the truck the biggest thing I have done is put a Leer cap on it..
During the highway driving it was about a 150 mile trip most of the way is open with no stop lights and speeds limits from 45 to 65 Miles Per hour. and no real traffic.
I just got off vacation, I filled up before I left my home town and drove the 150 mile trip from my house to Ocean city Maryland I then drove around the town for a week in heavy traffic and lots of stop lights before I had to fill up again. this time I got about 16.8 Mpg

My truck (2wd Lariat 5.4) will average 14.1 if I keep it mostly city driving. I have no mods. Combined normal driving conditions is usually 16.3 city/hwy.

2008 FX4 Screw. Upper 15's to 16 city mpg's with easy driving. Mid 14's if I romp around. Highway get to upper 18's if I keep it under 80.
