Problems to look for in a used 06?

I would suggest making sure that the 4X4 high and low engage with no issues. I recently bought a 06 Lariat and it required $250 in repairs on the 4X4 high. You may also want to pay particular attention to the differentials. Again I had to pay about $250 for a leaking front differential.
If you are seriously considering buying it ask the owner if you can have it inspected on a test drive.

^ what was leaking, guessing vaccuum? Iwe's are a problem, pretty easy fix, if it is a peoblem do a search on how to fix it and everyone will help you do it for waaay cheaper. Fuel pump driver module goes or will go on these trucks so if you can have it replaced to knock off the price, do it now. Otherwise check out engine build dates and tsbs to learn about everything else. Go packers.
