I have been reading about the benefits these things add as of lately. Seems like it could could back of the yearly job of me cleaning my intake manifold(suppose to prevent carbon buildup and sludge), and also give my engine a better combustion.

If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, or advice on how to install, which brand to get, or anything at all... it would be appreciated. I think that we could benefit greatly from this.

Do it on ask mi 5.0 and 5.8s.i use a air compressor filter since it's glass and easy to see

Could you post some pics of it?

Also, did you notice any difference at all? I heard you might see a very slight(0.5) mpg increase, but that is not why I would be interested in doing this. Main reason would be to help maintain the engines life.

Fits with issue. This same can is listed for nearly every vehicle. However there are much cheaper options out there. Search "oil catch can" on ebay and you find plenty from $30 up. Mine has done a great job so far. It's been two years. I had the blower off a year ago and no oil was puddled behind the throttle body like it use to and no oil was present on the intercooler. I know mines a little different under the hood you can see in the pics this can and and other can be mounted anywhere. Hope this helps.
