Default Probably a stupid question about leveling kits...

Do these work? I just want to have the same wheel gap I have in the back, up front.

What is a good brand? How easy is the installation? How level will the truck be after installation?

Will **** start to break after I install one.

Yes. Autospring seems to be the most popular since it is the cheapest. install is simple IMO, take out the strut assembly, bolt on the spacers, reassemble. how level depends on the stance of the truck. leveling kits put some added stress on the components up front, personally i won't run them, however most can afford lift kits, nor want to be that high....thousands of people run them with little or no problems...

depending on what year your truck is, you may need to stay under a certain inch amount to retain existing stock parts... I put the hellbent 2.5" level on my 07 scab, and after alignment and "settling" it's pretty damn level.

it's not gonna wear out anything over night, the leveling kit and bigger tires just prematurely wear out the front end...

So what should I go with? 2 inches? 2.5 inches?

Should I measure? I would hate to have the front higher then the back :S.

How much are a decent set of Blistein shocks?

if your truck is an 04/05 go with a 2.5, 06-08 go with a 2", that is if you are gonna leave the rear stock. the 06+ have 1 less leaf in the rear spring rake resulting in less rake.

thanks guys.

I'll look into a 2 inch. The rear will stay stock. No plans for a lift in the foreseeable future.

This forum is a lot better then F150 Online.
