I have a 2008 F150 transmission shifting while drive at constant speeds. it also has a delay when shifting into drive. Can any one assist?

Is there a transmission fluid leak? If it is full sometimes a fluid exchange is all that is needed to get them working right again. Not sure if that signals the near end of the transmission because the one car I had that had the problem I sold a year or so later but during that year all was fine.

Also, if your seal is gone between the transmission and the transfer case (like mine), the transmission fluid fills into the transfer case. I let mine go for a while and my transmission fluid got low, thankfully not too dangerous though. I pulled the plug on the transfer case to drain out the excess and added new to the transmission. If you have the issue and don't watch it, your transfer case will get high and transmission low. Just a thought.

No obvious leaks, and I dropped the pan and change the filter and symptoms remain. I also thouht about the the TRS. Going to take it to a shop for a dignosis. Hopefully they can figure it out.

I think mine gave it up last night. No leaks, fluid level good, started slipping bad at anything over 20 mph. Got it home after test ride, would not come out of drive, even in park. Had to kill the engine, and push it out of the street. Taking it to the shop this morning.
