I'm curious as to what others have paid to replace their p/s pump. Has anyone been able to get theirs replaced for under $400?...not diy

Just make sure you need to replace your pump because I thought mine was on its way out but come to find out our trucks are known for the steering shaft to bind up. PB blaster and someone to turn the wheel fixed that

a new steering shaft is $200 and 2 bolts. Or 2 bolts and soaking and working the u joints with PB Blaster and reinstall.
