Default Power Rear Sliding Window

Is there a known problem with the PRSW on the 04's? I bought my truck used about two months ago, and on our test drive the rear power sliding broke when we were opening and closing it to make sure it worked. The dealership fixed it for free of course, but now I've noticed it has stopped closing all the way. There's a very small gap (about 1/8") in it. Is this going to be a continuing problem?

I believe there is a thread on this..the cable that pulls the window needs to be lubed with some grease. I believe that was the solution to the problem of a sticking rear window.

I believe something broke and they had to change the whole unit, not just the cable. Anyhow, I called the dealer and scheduled to have it fixed. I'm just wondering if it's gonna be a continuing problem.

Signs point to yes? Ask them about the lube situation though. If it is something you can do periodically it might help it be less of an issue.

Will do, but I did ask them when I had them on the phone, and of course they said there was no problems with it.

Default Window

Sounds like that's one you don't want to open too often if it's going to keep causing issues.

I'm sure it leaks because they won't close.
