HID and OEM or Projector Headlamp Housing
Hello all.. 1st Post here id like to say hello to everyone and a pre ty for your reply's.
I own a 2004 F150 Lariat and heres my question:
Has anyone installed HID's into there OEM headlight housings or projector light housings? If so can i see some pics or tell me your story..I have projectors with the halo angel eyes and i'd like to add a set of HID's but some say its not a good idea..that OEM housings are only good for filament bulbs they cause too much glare and have a bad cutoff (whatever that means), and that blacked out housings are recommended. Does anyone have them installed and have you experienced any issues with them at all?..My truck is white and arizona beige i dont wanna have to add black headlights, i dont think it would match the truck. thank you again
Also would love to add pics and a gallery but it tell me my file size is to large gonna have to figure that one out.

I would not go with the stock housing and HID's, the glare is extremely bad. Some aftermarket headlights are compatiable with HID's and others are not, you might want to check with the campany for the correct answer. If you can run HID's in the projectors you should definetely do it, it will be much safer.
