how is the proper way to know the bed size. i thought mine was a 5.5 bed all along and i tried to measure the bed and it came out to like 6.6 or something . unless i just measured it wrong

Yea, the 6.5 bed is was way too damn useful to go out of the way and look for a 5.5 bed.

The way you measured is most likely right. Top of the box to the back, with the tailgate closed. Something along those lines one would think.

Ill have to find a good thread on how to do it and what products I need!
