Default Possible strut issues..need some help.

I am unfamiliar with strut assemblies and need some advise on if this is a concern or not. I noticed what appears to be some type of bushing or cushion on the top part of my strut assembly that appears to be sliding down . Not sure if I should be concerned or not. Any advise guys?

This spring receiver looks normal to me except for the lift kit. The spring receiver curves down like that to match the coil of the spring. Same on the opposite side it's just behind the spring.

Thanks. I guess I'm confused why one side is barley showing evenly but the other is drastically showing but only half way around.

The spring doesn't have to be in any particular orientation. If you could look at the back side of the other spring holder it would look the same as the one that is oriented differently on the other side. Stick your head up in there and have a look around the back side... if there is enough room. They are both the same they are just facing a different direction. The one in the bottom photo is normal. No worries.

X2 ^^^^ I just replaced my struts and that's What mine look like, one lip faces in and the other out. Nothing to worry about
