how "bad" is it to go with a 3" level? and what kind of backspace/offset will be needed to tuck 35/12.50/18's ??? as for the 3" level i believe its just ball joints wear faster but if its only reduced by a 1/4 of the life.... i can live with it.... roads around here are pretty rough though...

That's 2wd. Its the cv angles that are a little stressed with a 4wd that could be a problem.

Thanks Bshipe22 and powerranger for the input! im just stuck on the 2.5 or the 3 inch..... both my other trucks were lifted and i really dont want to spend the money on a full lift kit so i wanna get the biggest lift i can without costing more to just replace ball joints, cv's, or anything else.... i called HBS and the lady claimed they have had zero customers call saying that the 3inch was to much. very nice ppl to talk to btw!

Nice shock choice. I just put 2.5" r/r coilovers on mine. With 35's and your leveling kit, do you rub at all when you take a decent hit? I worry that I'll end up having it hit or rub when the tire gets stuffed. I only have 10" of travel, but I'd rather ask than find out the hard way.
