They look great on the truck, but do they allow enough light to be seen at the "legal" distances behind the truck?
I'll get a pic for you, it's perfectly visible...at night lol. During the day time idk, that might be questionable, but i've had a total of 9 cop cars ride on my *** and i haven't been pulled over so they must not care. I'll get a pic in day time and night.

Make sure the LED housings come with a "load resister" built in. I'm thinking the better made, more expensive ones do, and the cheaper priced may not. Since LED's use much less current to light, the turn signal/emergancy flasher unit will flip on and off about 3 times faster than normal. One fix is to install a "load resister" at EACH LED bulb location (not the best solution, as a conventional bulb will not operate properly with a load resister installed). See the first link below to order a flasher that will work with both LED's AND bulbs in our Fords (part number EP27L). This way you could keep yellow conventional bulbs in the front, while having LED's in the taillights. The second link is their home page, that has a link to automotive LED bulbs for all applications. I installed the EP27L flasher in my 2005 STX, equipped with the red LED parking/brake/turn signal LED bulbs in the rear, and the standard yellow filiment bulbs in the front. They all work, and flash normally with this flasher installed.
