Default Performance Accessory Lift Kits..?

Just curious if anyone here has used the PA lift kit? Its just under $600 and lifts the truck 5" to fit larger wheels and tires.

Here is a link:

Id like to get some lift on the truck and stick some bigger tires on the truck as the tread is getting pretty low and im tired of the OEM wheels.

The truck doesn't really go off road - except for at a few friends houses who live off unpaved roads or at some beach breaks, but those are both pretty tame situations my stock truck hasnt had a problem with...

However my trucks shocks are going on 9 years and it jumps like lowryder over speed bumps - so im kinda torn in not wanting to spend a lot of money on the suspension, but also would like to get some height to fit 33s or 35s and improving the ride.

A friend of mine suggested quicklift - which he said would raise about 2" and be able to fit 35s. Id like to get a little more height than 2" - but im also not trying to spend $2k on a kit that I really dont need ...

Any reccomendations...? Is the PA lift kit something that sounds like it would be suitable for my needs?

I wouldn't recommend it. the kits just a leveling kit combined with a body lift you'd be better off just leveling or going ahead and getting a real 4" or 6" suspension lift

Why don't you price quote a body lift install and let us know what you find out. Have heard they are a pain in the *** to install. So not sure how much overall you would be saving.

If you can do the body lift yourself it's worth it. I have a 3 inch body lift and 2.5 inch front lift well worth it.

i have installed a 3" PA body lift for about 2 years, it paid arrond 400 bucks in 4wheelparts and 350 for intallation in anhoter shop, now i want to remove it, i have to pay a lot too, i dont recomend to use it.

I jus pickud up an used 6" fabtech performance kit for only 525 bucks, this is the reazon why i want to remove it.

I ofered the BL for free here in my town, jus ask to pay uninstallation and i havent any response, so i will pay to uninstall.

Why are you wanting to remove it? Just to add the 6in kit?

Step bars will get rid of the frame, then just fab up some mounts for the bumper.
