ugh, mine has been leaking for about a year now and it drives me crazy. doesnt sound like mine is quite as loud as yours was, I can only hear it in the truck when Im towing or if I have the windows down. Ive been working up the motivation to tackle this job myself.

This is uncanny! I developed a passenger side leak and got it fixed just a couple of weeks ago in my '07. I was lucky and warranty covered everything. And you are all correct, I drove with the leak for about 1 week and it drove me crazy, couldn't do it any longer.

Had mine done last week while away in Vegas. Local shop charged me $300 to replace it.. Mainly because they had a week to soak it with PB and let it work. No broken studs or anything. MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE! Love driving it with the windows down again! Highly reccomend!
