Good job finding the break in the wire. Try to clean the contacts on the master window switch to see if it helps to raise the window from the drivers side. The contacts get dirty and can sometimes be cleaned and saves you the money from buying a new switch. Had the same issue on my truck, cleaned connectors and it was good, then trying to clean them a little better, broke the window lock so I ended up getting a new switch, should of stopped when it worked the first time.

@Bobby Lane

See step # 1) in @HarryK 's TIPS above in post #8: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/passeng...3/#post4850985 ---- and @vintageman's solution above. I believe that will conclusively identify your problem immediately - (without requiring to much energy. LOL)

Reviewing the attached Window Wiring Diagram reveals that the wiring 'conductors' for actuating "UP" and "DOWN" of passenger window (from passenger door window switch) are common circuits for both UP and DOWN, with one being interrupted only by the drivers door window lock switch.

Under the scenario you describe - (works from drivers door switch / and up but not down from passenger's door switch) - it is not going to be a broken conductor like @HarryK 's, but would have to be EITHER the passenger side switch or a flaky contact in the driver's door switch in the neutral (un-actuated) position.

Maybe this will save you some time.

Found some energy! Rolled the passenger front switch with passenger rear switch. Thankfully the trouble followed and a new switch is on the way. Glad it wasn't a wiring issue or flaky contacts.

Likewise glad it wasn't more serious - and thanks for the resolution feedback.

Default End of the drama

So today the power window issue ends. I took the left rear harness plug from the half door window and installed it on the front passenger side. Reverse was done also. Too many gremlins with the harness and the one behind me never gets used. I swapped the switch also (looked new). What a difference, works like brand new...and for some reason, the way the wires are pressing up against the back door plug, the back left window works also (from all switches!).

Thanks for the assists on this. I took a couple of photos because I like to see photos also......nothing special, just the connectors and my notes for the swap.
