Thanks for the quick reply. The kit I ordered from Rockauto said it had hardware included I just want to make sure I have all I need before I start tearing down.

Mine was cracked. None of the studs broke though. Floor jack and a block of wood you can undo the motor mount and jack up the engine to get access. The frame is in the way without lifting it up.

Lots of good info in this thread! Where is the best place to get the manifold kit with studs? Mine no longer quiets down when warm, constant tick so the time has come

I haven't seen the manifold with the studs... if you order online, the dorman's are pretty constantly $65 pretty much every where but at the stores they are over $100 locally in San Antonio. the dorman studs are cheap like $10 but the ford ones are like $5-6 each.

Well mine is at the shop today getting both sides. After reading your thread Uzi, I dedcided my weekend was worth more than the 500 it will cost to instal. Ordered the Dorman brand from Rockauto and took to a local shop who quoted 225 per side.

that is a great price!!! that's less than my lowest quote for just the passenger's side. i would have just taken it in if I found someone who would do it for that.

Well not jumping for joy just yet. Got it back today and still hear the exhaust leak sound. I will post a video tomorrow. I am going to have to take it back. It may even sound worse than before when I had a cracked manifold. This one has me scratching my head.
