Default had some time.. painted lights, CAI and cat back installed *PICS*

Baked my lights and got them painted, what a PITA!! Ill never do this again. Sandblasted the chrome stuff off and left me with a MINT surface to paint. Painted it with 1500 deg. glass paint, turned out REAL good. Note i didnt mask off the amber light bezel so its all black. Still lights up amber super good and all black during the day so its sweet.

Then i bought the Saleem catback from the seller on here and put that on. Had to extend the main pipe 5" but it was super easy with the OEM pipe i took off. Into the muffler and was gonna leave just the muffler for now. Then for test fitting i threw up the over the axle pipes and tail pipes. The tail pipes that come with the kit are kinda gay so i bolted on the over the axle extentions and just left um dumped. Sounds BAD*****!! REAL deep. Best part is you cant see the pipes from the back cause there tucked soo high up but still past the rearend and dumped.

Then i got my intake put on. Its also 4" Spectre that i actually found from Pepboys... for $150 and is a mint piece, lol. This speaks for itsself.

Where did you get / how did you make that shroud?

Looks good, how is the light reflection from the front turn/marker bulbs seeing as you painted over the reflector?

never heard of that brand intake, just seen ir at pep-boys the other day, hell of a produck for that cheap! It pulls hard on the top end but if you just blip the throttle a tad off idle it seems to have a .0001sec delay, other then that its a mint piece.

shroud? around the filter? Came with the kit.
The reflection is perfect, lights up just fine

Did you reheat the old silicone while putting the cover back on or did u remove it and put a new bead of silicone around the whole headlight? reason i ask, is i painted my headlights this weekend (05 expd) and had to recaulk em cause the stuff was so hard it was imposible to get it soft unless melting my headlight in the oven.

here's a pic of my aftermath. Looks great btw!!

How hot do you have to heat them to do this and for how long?
