Default Paint Gurus... I need a little advice

So, I ordered new FX2 decales to match my truck (Black and Shadow Grey)... supposedly, they are the exact same decale that I removed, just a different color.

Heres the problem...Passenger side old decale removed easily... Driver side .

Apparently work was done on the driver side and the origonal FX2 decale was clear coated over (Stupid Body Shop)... I got the sticker removed but now there is a ridge where the clear coat met up with the side of the decale...

So, Step by step, how do I get rid of that little ridge???

You will never really "get rid" of the line unless you sand it all down and clear coat the thing again. But you can wet sand the edge and area around it with 2500 very carefully and blend the line in, then buff it out and apply the sticker, once its buffed and the sticker on you should never see it.

Wet sanding the ridge will make it go away enough you wont see it after the stickers are on

They did the same thing to my truck, I've been meaning to wet sand it and re apply a new sticker but i haven't bothered.
