Default drive train problem please advise

well i wanted to know if any one had this same problem i read a few posts about transmission slips but i did not read any with matching symptoms. when im driving usually between 40 and 50 mph maby a little slower and i push the gas a little bit more only to gain 2-3 mph or just keep up with the car im following i feel a bump coming from my drivetrain, i feel usualy 1 but up to 3 bumps they feel like for example driving over a 1 inch curb to a driveway. i have changed all fluids in the truck about 1000 miles ago with no effect. i have noticed the axle seal on the rear diff is leaking quite a bit now i am keeping it topped off. i played around a little bit when i put the truck in 4wd or use the od off or i get on the gas hard or haul a extra 100 to 200 lbs no more bumps. what do you guys think im puzzled thanks in advance any help

Check the U-joints on the drive shaft.

well i took my truck to the local shop and had them go with them for a ride drove them around for about 10 minutes got my truck to do the bump then i let the tech drive they cleared the trany. what i was told was it may be the u joint binding up or the slip yoke on the drive shaft. guess i have my weekend project let me know what you guys think thanks
