Own a 2008 F150 and the cigarette lighter quit working
I was using cigarette lighter as 12v port only. Was pulling a plug out and the plastic surround piece that holds the lighter popped out. Saw that there was a broken prong on the back and now the surround piece will not stay. I pulled it free and found that I have an additional wire plug, I assume could be used for another type accessory, but is just plugged into a blank space. I would like to add a USB port, as well as replace the current cigarette lighter socket with a 12v socket.
