I just got a 2004 F150 and there seems to be a set of rails that support the roof console.

Are there some accessories that go there? Or they just decided to use rails to connect the rear dome lights?

Accessories but they suck.

Overhead DVD and sunglasses holder

They really didn't support the overhead rail system once they released. Like, at all. It was a great idea and they dropped it for aftermarket support. The best you can do is get an extra sunglass holder off ebay for between $60 and $90.
