Default Valves knocking.... ****!

Ok so last weekend I unhooked both positive and negative terminals on my battery, clean my MAF, Air Filter and reset the Gas pedal trick. NOW my valves are "knocking"... WTF!!! any suggestions of how to figure out this new issue would be great!

Thanks guys!

its when i give it hard throttle and its a "fluttering" noise that i think is the valves. out of all the cam phaser noises I have heard this is nothing like those.

and it literally started right after I did all the work above. the gas pedal reset has made my throttle response NOTICEABLY more responsive too. if that helps...

You might have a hang up at the CMCV plates or in the servo that moves them in the intake.. Do you think its possible you dropped something into the intake?

Fluttering? Is metallic sounding? More info might help.

Try a full battery reset again on the negative terminal. Drive it for 20 min, then do the TPS reset.

If you really think its valves, you could also pour some MMO (marvel mystery oil) into the oil, put some miles on it (around 100), and then change the oil. It might help free up a sticky cam follower..
