Original plugs?

Original plugs?
I have a 2006 5.4 f-150 with 88K. Bought it a year ago. Started to develop a rough idle and hesitation on acceleration in 4th gear going 40- 50 mph. I cleaned the coil terminals and added new boots and springs. Runs incredible more smooth and quit with no missing now. I don't know if the original plugs are in it or not. Can one tell just by the top end of the plug if it is the original or not?? They were very clean and I forgot to snap a photo...just wondering if anyone has crossed this bridge. Hesitant to pull one and risk breaking it off just to verify. Would be great if plugs were already changed out!!

Have you checked the MyCarFax app? It will show most of the past service history. Thats how I found out that my plugs were changed about 30k ago.

I don't know if any other way than to pull a plug and see. Even then maybe only some were changed.

pulling one shouldn't be an issue. Let a little penetrating fluid sit in that cylinder just in case
