I've never been not able to pop start a car with a dead battery. Although it's been a bit since I've tried, been to lazy and just grabbed a jumper box.

Well thanks for all the help folks. This morning I went out and bought me a new battery. I got the Meijer Pro Cell Silver group 65 with 875 cca for $95.

The battery has a 3 year warranty. The batteries Meijers carries are made by East Penn/ Deka according to the parts book they have hanging in the aisle. They also carried Diehard batteries so I laid them on the ground and compared them side by side and they looked exactly the same just different labels. They also had the same warranty so I went for the meijer brand since it was cheaper.

The truck defiantly cranks over faster than before and I should have no worries this winter.

I was able to install the 65 series battery with no problems. It fit in the battery box great and I was even able to use the original plastic battery cover.
