Default Options to bypass factory keyless entry

I have an 04 scab and have had it about a year now. I've replace the keyless entry remotes at least 3 times now and it's just getting annoying. I looked into some remote start/keyless entry options which are nice but I'm worried it would become costly with installation and I'm not too good with wiring (well actually never tried other than speakers/amps but don't think this is what to start with).

Anybody know of any options to use another remote with little installation? Or know of an aftermarket system that would be fairly easy to install with little experience?

What is failing on your remotes? I've been using the Ford remotes for many years and never had one fail yet.

They just stop working. I change out the battery and they still won't work. I've tried reprogramming them to make sure it didn't mess up with a dead battery and no luck. I'm just tired of messing with them and want to move on. I've been using just the code for the past couple months.

Isn't sticking the key into the door and turning quicker than typing in a code? I had a vehicle that ate batterys on my remote. I don't know what the issue was, but I replaced it 2 or 3 times in the 2 years I owned the vehicle.

Probably haha. I did it when I first got the truck so I would remember the code when I needed it. I guess at this point the keyless (either way) is just habit.

Put a decent remote start in it. Have a reputable shop do the installation. They come with a higher quality fob that may last for you. I have not had any issue with them either. Been running remote starters for many years with no issue.
