I think it looks good the way it is but hey if i were you id probably do it because its different then what everyone else has and most likely you can jump in every truck and see the silver rings and then jump in yours and it would be different you know hell you got me wanting to paint mine white now i may have to steal your idea but hey ill give you all the credit not like some of the idea stealers who act like they came up with it haha.

Thanks for the opinions everyone....very appreciated! My heart was set on the blue, but I agree with it not standing out and kind of fading into the black background. I'm 95% sure that I'll go with the silver, but in the meantime I'm going to make up two rings the same size as the bigger ones out of some plastic I have laying around. I'll paint them blue and tack 'em to the background for a better view of what I'm thinking. I'll post up a pic of that....thanks again
