i have a blue 2006 f150 4x4 which was starting to rust out mostly in the rear fenders.
so rather than spending a few thousand to get a bodyshop to fix the rust i bought a raptor fender kit to replace the rusting fenders.
again i didnt want to spend 5000 plus on a paint job in addition to the fender kit, lights, tires, wheel spacers, bumpers etc so i covered the fenders in a smurf blue bed coating.
now that its done ive come to the conclusion myself and from a few friends and families opinions that its a rather odd looking two toned type paint job.
i ended up with enough bedliner to paint the rest of the cab and doors etc the same color.
so now i dont know wether i shud bother with the extra work of almost complete dissassmebly and painting the rest of the truck with the same colored bedliner or
try to paint the offensive smurf blue bedline the same factory ford color with factory colored/mixed spray bombs?
i know it will look better factory colored but how long will the spraybomb adhere to the bedliner in salty winter conditions and baked sunlight summers?
