Opinions of subwoofers

I custom built my own box, almost like side by side ATrends as mentioned above. The vent however is a slot port out the back rather than the ATrend side. Holds two 2013 Alpine Type S, powered each by one 500.1 JL. Sounds incredible and hits SO hard. I wired them at high impedance to as they are each DVC to have better quality over raw power delivery. Some might contest this but my amps don't heat up at all. I had to install a seat lift kit though first otherwise this would have not been possible to run fullsize 10" subs. I will try to take pics this eve. The box took a while to make but totally worth it.

Did you say a TC sounds amp? Didn't know they made amps now? Good to see someone who doesn't waste money on the mainstream crap!

I would suggest a custom box 100% if you want to get the best sound and output from whatever sub you plan to use. The box is probably the most important factor in a crappy sounding sub and an excellent sounding one.
