one more question.
last question i think i will have, since im on a budget im going to end up getting a 2" leveling kit and a 3" body lift along with either some 35x12.5 or 315/70r17 tires to mount onto my stock rims of an 07 xl f150.
is there anything else that i would need or that would be recommended for this setup? Also, if im getting about 15 mpg now, can anyone with experience with this fill me in on what im going to be looking at while running this setup? i appreciate any help that can be given |
are you installing the body lift yourself, or gettin a deal on the install because in most instances the install on the body lift makes it cost close to a suspension lift, so you would be better off with a suspension lift
|
i would probably install it myself either that or see what my shop can do for me, they usually do good stuff for great prices, i just cant find a susp lift less than 1700.

Get gap guards to cover the gap between the frame and your inner fenders.
You'll prolly take a hit of around 2mpg depending on your drivetrain and your right foot. |

These trucks aren't the same as the mid 90's and previous when it comes to body lifts. If you are on a budget and you want to get your truck up, I would consider getting a full 3" leveling kit, and if you want some rake back, throw on some taller axle blocks, an add-a-leaf or lift shackles.
