Get up under your truck follow the cab corner under the truck you will see where it is spot welded follow it up you will find a R stamped in the metal still under that as low as you can, follow same step on the left side.

yeah, I just bought my truck, the guy before me had just put rust killer on it, I'm gonna try again this weekend and try and sand it down then paint it with the por paint and eventually I'm gonna 2 tone with Bedliner so idk if that will help

Yeah just bought mine didn't see the rust because I was excited to get a fx4 screw again then saw a bubble asked google about it and lead me to this forum. I still love my truck even though I need coil packs installed and the rust issue.

Don't waste your time, I sanded to bare metal, primed and painted. Within a month bubbles returned. It comes from the inside of the corner, the ONLY fix is replacement!

With my drilled holes I gained access to the inside was able to coat it with rust killer and a sealer. I'm going to see how long it holds rust at bay. This is kinda a r&d experiment for me. Replacement corners will just rot out to unless the real issues are addressed first like the opening above the corner in the rear cab seem, the issue that water can't get out once in the corner. Ect.
