WELL ........... maybe so.
But 'pushing 72' will tire you out pretty good to start with, before you even GET TO the oil filter. Can you link me a tool for that?
Me and @redfishtd will both buy it. (speaking for myself only.) LOL

I do have a big pair of channel lock pliers that when adjusted to the largest setting fits perfect around the filter for a little persuasion. I use ramps to change my oil and can access it sitting my old *** on the garage floor..

Think we've all got the stories. I had mine changed at a tire/mechanic shop because I was busy and had them do it while rotating the tires. I fought it for like an hour to the point where a strap oil filter wrench actually twisted the canister like it was a coke can. After a lot of cussing and throwing things I finally just drove a screwdriver threw it and got it to break loose. Even then it still tore the canister a little before moving. Never been back there since. Hand tight is the word. No more troubles.

Best way to pull the filter is take the air intake off. One bolt. Then when I climb on front I can easily reach down to loosen filter with wrench. Then when I pull the drain plug the filter is way easier to get to.

Mine also comes off by hand. I lay down in the front and reach up from underneath. Don't put it on so tight.

Mine almost always come off by hand. The few rare times it didn't (I guess I was feeling extra strong when I installed), I used a pair of channel locks.
