Default New cluster wrong miles!

I have an 08STX and bought an 05 Fx4 cluster and changed all the lights to blue. Everything works truck starts and drives it just has 24,+++miles and my truck is just shy of 11,000. I know shops and some dealerships will make the miles match but i cant seem to find one. So im curious if anyone knows any shops that will do this, i live in bum**** kingsville, tx with pop of 25,000 there is no shops around here . So if anyone could help me out id be greatfull!!!

that cluster won't have the tpms light, unsure what else it won't have? as far as i know, dealers are not able to program mileage. it must be sent it, i would not recommend doing this while the truck is under warranty, sounds like a big hassle. there are places you can send it in to, but i wouldn't, not with a warranty...

I posted my findings some time ago....a search will net you some folks that will flash your mileage, but the cheapest I found was about $175.00 plus shipping back and forth.

Good luck finding a dealer to do it for you. As stated in my previous posts, another person tried down south and up the east coast looking for a dealer to flash his mileage in a cluster he bought. Finally found one in Georgia. He never posted the dealership name though.

Call around to your local speedo shops, or do a Google search on "speedometer"....then start calling.

I've been trying to find a way to override the Lariat and King Ranch AC switch problem as well; worked with a guy who has the $$$ equipment to flash the PCM, but to date we have been unsuccessful.

be carefull, atom said something about TPMS, all vehicle 08 and newer are required to have TPMS, and the 05 wont have the TPMS, I dont know what your vehicle inspection program is like but you may get bagged for that

07 was the 1st year of tpms on fords. when swapping cluster, always get the same year..ford changed wiring in 06 model, something to do with how they grounded things.

not true. we have a 2004 Expedition (Eddie Bauer) bought new from Champion Ford in Houston Tx, it came equipped with TPMS.

I doubt Ford will adjust your odo because tampering with one is a federal offense. I'm sure that if you talk to younger mechanics at local mom & pop garages they'll like be able to hook you up with someone that does speedo recalibration AKA odometer roll back. This usually goes for $300 or $400.

who is talking about expeditions? check the forum, 04-08 F150.....

the TPMS is worthless IMO, it's another one of those things developed because of the "gas and go" type people..so the rest of us gearheads get punished..not to mention there average life span is 7 years and then the batteries die, sealed 1 piece unit and must be replaced at 60 bucks a piece.....IMO ford should have allowed 8 sensors to be allowed to 1 truck, that wouldn't have screwed us guys with 2 sets of rims and tires.

Yes the FX4 cluster does not have the TPMS light and my 22" wheels dont have the sensors in so it was nice not to see the light come on because there wasnt one! Im half way debating selling the FX4 cluster thats already been changed blue and just change the STX one to blue . and $175 isnt too bad actually if i could find those people!
