OEM tow Hitch
I have searched, and came up with mixed results.
I I have the chance to buy a 08 OEM take off Receiver hitch for $50 and I am wondering if it will fit my 06. I do have a bumper Bracket that looks removable and can be replaced with the receiver(I prefer the OEM hitch because it looks so much cleaner) And my question is, I keep reading that the OEM Receiver hitch is mounted or welded to the frame or bumper and will not work with bumpers that did not come with a OEM hitch( as they are different). My truck did not come with the Tow receiver, but i do have a transmission cooler and 4 pin wiring.
And I am asking if anyone has added an OEM tow Hitch to their non tow hitch bumper? preferebly a 06-08.
also can anyone get me some detailed pictures of their OEM hitch (06-08?)
