Default OEM MAF with a turbo on my 5.4?

I was planning on using the factory MAF sensor on my mild turbo build (6-8#'s). I'm confident I can fit it into the forced intake piping in the same position with a good seal. Does anyone think this could be problematic?

Not sure what the flow-rate is on the factory MAF, I'd assume most people would go with a larger one. I'd also assume this post is less helpful than you would have liked...

I have it installed as of right now in my 3" aluminium piping about where the factory location was. It actually sits dead center so if it will end up working it's got its best shot. I'm sorting out how to run my PCV from my passenger valve cover at the moment. I plugged it up to do a quick test drive and ended up with too much vacuum in the engine and sucked a bunch of oil into the intake. That was a smokey mess.....

PCV from passenger side should go between MAF and throttle blade; fresh, metered air enters the engine on that line. Driver's side is the one that goes to vacuum & sucks the vapors from the crank case.
