OBD II question on Ford F150 5.4 year 2007

Hi guys
I am busy modifying my 5.4 3V from 2007.
To finish the modification I need to know the protocol OBD used.
I guess it's a 500KB CAN or a 250KB.
I have already searched with forscan and torque pro but I see nowhere the communication protocol used.
I believe that with protocol 500 and 250 the terminals used for the signal are terminal 6 and 14 of the DLC connector (OBD II)
Maybe someone here could inform me and help me.
thank you in

The obd2 spec has provisions for multiple connection methods (SAE J1850, ISO 15765(CAN BUS), ISO9141 (K-Line), ISO14230 (KWP2000)). On my 2004, Ford only wired one connection method to the OBD2 port - CAN BUS (Pins 6 & 14).

With CAN there can be up to 3 different buses.
  • High speed CAN connects "Mission Critical" things like Engine computer, ABS, air bag computer, Body computer, gauge cluster. This is what is exposed to OBD2 port under the dash.. The BCM or Instrument Cluster MIGHT be used as the gateway between the other buses and the high speed CAN. These would not need any different settings to access, the BCM or IC does the translation. This is manufacturer-dependant. If Ford decided they don't want you to have access to the radio settings from the OBD2 port, you'll have to tap directly into the Low-speed CAN bus for access.
  • Medium speed CAN usually connects with the body controls and lighting.
  • Low speed CAN usually connects everything else. Radio, Windows, Rear-Seat Entertainment, etc.

I don't have a definitive answer for you, but most manufactures use 500 k/Bps for their high-speed CAN.

Also, keep in mind that OBD2 is a distinct, separate protocol from CAN. Just because you can read OBD2 codes does not mean the manufacturer has presented the CANbus to the OBD2 port.

I have to check it is a 15765 (can 500kbs).
I asked this question for my propane installation.
Because if I connect it is two wire the propane ECU communicates better with the ECU ford to make the fuel adaptation.
However, I have another problem.
When I turn on propane he throws me a DTC P0191 and but waiting for a DTC P1235.
This sounds a bit logical to me since the fuel pump is running but the injectors are no longer working because the propane injector is working.
I think I should install a fuel pump or fuel pressure emulator that activates when the engine is running on the propane.
