Default noise when shifting

I just happened to notice this noise today because my window was down and was driving beside a wall. But it was kind of a rattling noise when it shifted up. My tranny doesn't even have 10k miles on it yet but the truck has 161k.
Any ideas on what this could be?

if it's a manual tranny, I'd say it's either the throw out bearing going bad or a seized pilot bearing.

Well first.. I don't have a solution, but I know it's inside the torque converter, because, I just did my tranny over and the noise is still there, and I didn't have the xtra cash to address that issue too.
Question; Does it only happen when you're in first gear and on the brakes and giving it gas ever so slightly? He said it won't cause any damage just a little chatter. Not sure I'm cool with that explanation. I wanted to know exactly what's making that sound.
So anyways it's in the converter if you want to get into it, and mines been doing it for 6 yrs.

I only noticed it shifting out of 1st, I haven't tried much of anything else.
Are they suggesting a new converter will eliminate it, or are they saying its just going to be that way?

I'm not sure I'd like that explanation either... If it sounds like a couple of bearings tumbling around, then it probably is...

Maybe its the bearings that ride on the transmission input shaft on the transmission side of the converter... (Just a wild guess).

Maybe a video clip will help..

I'll try and get a video clip. I will say it's not quite as loud since having my tranny fixed.
