2007 F150 Battery
I have a 2007 F150 King Ranch. At 10,000 miles I started to have dead batteries. Ford service said there was no problem. So I keep calling roadside service to jump it even if it was in my driveway. Finally Ford service said the battery had a dead cell and they gave me a new battery. Today at 13,000 miles it was dead again. I do have factory navigation and it seems to draw a lot of amps.....Has anyone experienced these problems. I believe the F150 with heated seats and nav and all the other options just needs a bigger battery.....any opinions?
I am still under warranty so I have a backup but it still is a pain in the ***..

I have not had that problem, but I guess I might start to ask about your habits with electrical use. Do you use the heated seats for a long time with the engine just idling? Or anything like that.
If I recall correctly the heated seats draw a lot of power when used, and if used at idle and then the truck is only driven for a short time it can really drain the battery, just a thought.
Otherwise, ford should be able to diagnose an electrical drain.

How long do you let it set? Then how long do you drive it after setting for a while? I know the newer Mustangs haver been draining their batteries in 10-14 days of settting.
