Default No accelerator pedal response after new motor install

Ok so I changed the motor and tranny and finally got it running today. I have no response at all in the accelerator. It does nothing and occasionally kills the engine when stomped! i hate this fly by wire crap. Any ideas? I did take the little motor off the throttle body as well as the TPS clean and paint eveything and reassembled it. It is a 2006 ford 4 X 4 Roush F150 thanks.
I did search but that left me more confused! The truck sat for almost one year before today but it was always inside

Did you mark the spring position before disassembly? I know from experience that the throttle body can be a little 'touchy' to reassemble, including the screw torque and sequence. That little motor can bind quite easily. I swapped my charge motor and TPS over to a new BBK TB, and it was never right-kept throwing codes, even though everything was fine before. I fiddled with it several times, but ended up installing a new TPS and motor-no problems since.

No I didn't! When it came apart it kind of fell apart. If i install a new motor won't i have the same spring issue?

It will really only lock in, in one position. I believe the trick is to not overwind it when installing it.

I just watched the BBK install video. I did not take the cup off and do what they did. I will try that next week!

I didn't wind it at all! That is probably what I did wrong. I hooked the spring in the groove and put the plastic white piece ontop of it. I think i did it wrong. Why would i replace the throttle body? It's alum!

If it is coding it is an assembly with its parts. Is your intake hooked up properly? Look to your code now. Is the check engine warning light on ? If the check engine warning light is not on you probably have an air leak somewhere in the air filter intake area unsealed.

I will check the codes. I was tired last night when i got it running but it ran too smoothly to have an intake leak. It idled beutifully with headers temps in the low 200's.
