Default Nitto Trail Grapplers

I know this topic has been discussed to DEATH but i figured I would ask and any help is much appreciated!

I will be buying Rims and tires come spring time. Now The rims I willbe getting are:

RIMS:
BMF Novakane
20x9 6.5 31 Metric 6x135 00 Offset (think it comes to be 5" of backspacing)

Will these rims fit fine on my truck?

Im want the Nitto Trail Grapplers for tires. What is the best size to get if I have a 2 inch level? I heard 35's are ok if you re-gear?

295/70r18 are the best looking tires for a leveled truck imo. that's the size for an 18" wheel though, i can't think of the matching size for a 20" wheel off the top of my head. and nice choice with the novakane wheels, those things look sweet! they should fit fine.

Thats good to hear. I am leveling my 05 FX4 SCrew with a 2.5" HBS. I am planning on the Nitto Terra's 295/70/18 on Moto Metal 18x9 with a 5.71" backspace and a +18mm offset.

i think sticking out under the fender is easier judged by offset. the lower the number, the more it sticks out. the huge lifted trucks with wheels sticking way out usually have -12 offset. i think +18 offset is the best look for a leveled truck. it'll stick out just a bit but won't look goofy.

I took physical measurements and determined the 5.71" backspace will be fine. The stock rim measured a little more than 5". The positive offset will keep the wheel inside the well more. I am thinking I will have no more than 2" of tire sticking out of the fender well. Again, this is on 05 with stock 18" wheels.

so just to be clear.....

The rim I want is 20x9
The offset is 0 (ZERO)
The backspacing is 5"

Will the tire stick out a little or alot from the fender?

Whats the best size tire to run with this Rim without rubbing? I have a 2" level with the bilstein 5100's and I will be buying Nitto Trail Grapplers.

Thanks,
Scott

0 offset will stickout kind of medium, it'll look good. and with a 2" level you could easily clear 33's

A 0 offset rim puts the wheel center directly in the middle. Even distance to both rim edges. You can't have a 9" rim with a 5" backspace and 0 offset. It would have to be a 4.5" backspace.

Take your front wheel off, lower it so the suspension is on a stand with the truck weight on it as if it were sitting on the ground with the wheel on. Measure from the wheel hub surface out to a distance you want your tire to stick out. That would be half the tire width on a 0 offset rim.
